just trying to improve my quotes
got a question - if you say you do less mileage than you actually do how can they prove you have done more ? and i guess this is only potentially a problem if you have a claim. could you have a claim with your own insurance if it wasnt your fault or would this be through the faulty drivers insurance?
adding a parent as additional driver has helped a lot..£50 less definitely worth doing!

the mileage on the MOT certificates.
as MOTs are now computerised, they may have access to info about the mileage between MOTs without needing to see the certs.

ok thanks. well ive tried all the comparison sites. i'm 26 1 year no claim old golf 1.8 petrol, 8000 miles a year sdp + commuting, added father to policy. £284 admiral is the best quote. renewal with direct choice was initally £291 but went up after a phone call and change of job to £3380

my other option is to get a car with a smaller engine say 1.4 petrol. but i'll only get £250 for mine so is it worth it for a lower insurance premium?0
