Hi,
my comp has gone mad all sorts of bad stuff happening and i am ready to reformat and do a clean install except.....
First the monitor does not work i have been using another plugged into the back (i need a new inverter)
Second i cannot access BIOS:o
is this because of the second monitor
i have pressed delete,F8,f12 on start up and still cannot get to BIOS, pressing delete button on start up gives me a "bleep" but it then just boots up to a welcome screen.
Any help would save this computer from the hammer

Took this from the Dell website:
Enter the System Setup on the Computer
1.Restart your computer.
2.At the first text on the screen or when the Dell™ logo appears, press <F2> every three seconds until the message Entering Setup
Some older Dell computers use an alternate key sequence instead of <F2> to enter system setup. These alternate key sequences include:- <Ctrl> and the <Alt> and the <Enter> keys
- <Delete> key
- <Fn> and the <F1> key (Portable computers only)
- <Fn> and the <Esc> key (Portable computers only)
