Odd Patio Door Quote question
bonsoirbonsoir
I am ringing around for companies to come and quote for new patio doors. Two of the companies that have made appointments asked whether it would just be me, or would my wife be there as well.
This seems odd, why would they want to know this? It might be courtesy of course, but these are salespeople after all! Perhaps it has something to do with pricing structures?

They want you both there to get a sale! They do not want just one half of a couple because the person getting the sales pitch will say I have to check with OH. The salesperson then has no way of continuing their sales pitch. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0

As Catkins says, it's so you can't use the excuse, I'll need to talk to her/him!!
& if you want to get an idea of cost www.windowquoter.co.uk might do the trick!
We used it initially for ours, had a small company ring with a price, visited us, confirmed the 'deal' & we compared this with other firms & lastly, got Anglian around & simply had them match the best price - RESULT!!
If you want to see what £3500 buys, it's 2 small windows & a normal size patio door plus our SUPERSIZE doors!!

There has been a leak which might not yet have been cured (till the rain comes, not sure) but their man that goes out for snags & rectification work is trying his best & really wants to sort it!
Not sure if I would get some form of introductory commission if you were to buy from them, but if you did want to ask them to quote, please let me know & if there is a payment, I'd willingly donate it to a local animal charity I support. Private message me if you are interested.

it also has to do with the finance. they want to sell you the finance deal too.
