Swearing in posts

I don't know if its just me but over the last week or so I seem to read more and more posts with swearing.
A few more stars would not go amiss in many a post I have read this weekend.
I also struggle to read a lot of posts that seem to a mixture of texting and general lack of punctuation and wonder sometimes if that person is taking the mickey by submitting their message.
Now I commit the crime of typos but these generally do not prevent you from reading and comprehending what the post is saying.

I can take your point of veiw regarding swearing as i know it can cause offense to some, although i do have to admit i haven't seen anything vulgar written perhaps the odd b****y hell here and there, but surely even the stars are not going to make it better if you are aware of what its spelling, maybe the best thing would be to have the whole site vetted and anyone who swears on it should be banned ??? surely even you would feel that a little extreme and i'm sure if the moderators had come across anything they felt inappropriate they would contact the poster and/or remove the post.
I cant say i've come across more than one post that was written in somewhat of a text but even then i didnt have much of a problem reading it i guess that comes with having kids with mobiles ;D but i'm sure your not backward at coming forward if you feel that someone as posted a swearword that is offensive to you you could always contact the poster and politely express your concern.
oh and btw (by the way) sorry for the lack of comas, fullstops etc i was always c**p at grammaNobody can make you feel inferior, without your permission

I agree with Rushnowt's comment's.
But I would like to add that I have never been on any chat forum where swearing is not used, I think this site as a whole is not that bad at all, as there are many other sites that I know use far worse words than those that are used here or hinted at, I mean really bad words and no one would have stood for that on here.
I know we have some children look in with there parents, but I would like to think that they are monitored by the parents as some of the subjects you may not want your child to read. 8)
As for the grammer I've always been able to read anything on here, there was one, not so long ago but this was a rogue type poster to wind us up, and we get them but you tend to know who they are0 -
where's the swearing? bloody hell and !!!!!! and everything like that is a bit too tame to be classed as swearing.
Any actual swearing has a bad word filter on to prevent it.
no wot u mean about ppl textin on der replies tho. dus my ed in 2.0 -

lol @ s g.
the odd bit of swearing does go on, but like ivan says anything too bad gets changed. its an adults forum, therefore adult things do tend to appear here. it would be difficult to remove all of them.

An adult forum? Don't think it would come up in Google if you were looking for an adult forum.
I don't think swearing is much of a problem, in fact it can be quite funny to read peoples' attempt at trying to circumnavigate the swear checker. However, certain areas are not for the more sensitive and I don't like when that creeps into other areas.
Martin has posed the question on Five Things to tell a Teenager about Money and quite a few teenagers have posted on this thread and generally on MSE so I wouldn't say its for adults, teens like a bargain too!
Now S_G is different, says he is in his twenties but really just a big kid ;D ;D0 -
