Whats the best childrens accounts.
All we want to do is put their pocket money in account and earn some interest and also maybe have a cash card to be able to get at it too.
Any ideas as it seems most societies are making it hard with lots of forms to fill in to get an account. I had to wait to see somebody to get an account for over an hour and still didn't get to see her as I had to get kids from school.

We opened a Nationwide Smart Account for ours. Easy and quick to open (or at least it was when we did so). I think they offer a cashcard from age 11 but check out the details on their website http://www.nationwide.co.uk/search/DisplayArticle.aspx?article=1418. We also advised them to keep £100 in an account with Nationwide just in case it demutualised, but I don't suppose it ever will!0
