Buildings Insurance to include subsidence

Can any one recommend an insurance company for buildings. I am buying a new house but it has history of subsidence (more than 10 years ago) and is not a risk now according to the survey anyway!!

Find out who insures the property at present and get a price from them.
You'll be lucky to find anyone willing to cover subsidence for an already subsided property but if you do manage it, it wont be cheap.

If the current owners are the ones that had the subsidence problem, they should have a copy of the structural engineers report that confirms the issue was fixed. Ask them for a copy of that and then ring round some insurers.
