Ironically next week we start photo shop7 lessons but before then I have to hand in a project for which I need a picture of an armchair (which I have already) with my fabric design on it. So is there anyone out there who can tell me the steps I need to do to place my design digitally onto the armchair picture. Hope someone can help.
Have to go out now, so back later. thanks for reading

Sounds quite complex, good luck.
Cant you use CAD to design a armchair, then you can use you fabric as a texture?0 -
No need for CAD or anything else like that, it's quite straightforward using a displacement map in Photoshop, there are several ways to achieve it in older versions (and even more in CS3), but to save me explaining, try this link: http://www.spoono.com/photoshop/tutorials/tutorial.php?url=wrap
My tip is make sure the texture is seamless, if it isn't make it larger by offsetting/duplicating etc.0 -
