Hi there,
I've been looking around the boards for some time now and cant find the answer to the question im looking for.
What is the best freebie if i dont want an overdraft or a railcard? Is it the free £50 that you can get with the HSBC account?
All replies appreciated

When I got my Natwest account (although it was back in 2001) they gave me £60 cash.
Perhaps it's worth asking them if they are prepared to give you a cash incentive instead of the railcard?0 -
I would like to know the best one to go for that wont credit check me.
I have recently been turned down by the rbs because of my poor credit rating at the moment :-(
I only have their cardcash one at the moment with a visa electron card and a cheque book. Seems it's the best I can do at the moment. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
HSBC is a great offer, but only applies to 1st yr students only. My partner never got round to opening a student account last yr ( for some strange reason), so he's thinking about it this yr.. shame he won't be entitled to these freebies... anyone know of a way round this??0
