Paint on vinyl floor

My other half painted our bathroom and accidentally got some on the vinyl floor and it wont come off. Whats happened is that its a rubbing as opposed to dollops. I mean he got paint on an accessory and then put the accessory on the floor causing that paint to come off and end up on the floor. He says he has tried everything.
Any ideas?

is it emulsion? It should wash off ok with a bit of elbow grease - or a baby wipe. Failing that i removed some spots on my vinly with a very small amount of nail polish remover. It worked ok on mine and left no marks, but try a small area out of sight just in case

White spirit should shift it.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0

Nope white spirit nor nail polish remover nor a baby wipe worked. My other half says that its not paint. He says that it occurred when I washed the floor and put the toilet tissue in its wrapper onto the vinyl before it dried.
I dont believe this because its lilac paint and I dont actually recall buying toilet tissue with purple writing.
Anyway if anyone has another idea whether its paint or a stain from packaging can you please help? All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0 -
