in Credit cards
I've been using my LloydsTSB Mastercard for years now with no problem.
Then all of a sudden i've received 2 replacement 'Airmiles Duo' Credit Cards (An American Express one & a Mastercard).
I certainly didn't ask for these cards & i didn't even get a warning telling me they were replacing my Platinum Mastercard with these 2 cards!
I phoned Lloyds Customer Services who 'insisted' they'd sent me a letter telling me of the compulsory changes - then proceeded to tell me how WONDERFUL the benefits are of having the Duo Cards. (Yawn)
Why you need to have 2 cards though is beyond me!

The AMEX gets you an airmile for every £10 you spend. This is meant to be your primary card. However, they give you the Mastercard to use secondary as not all places accept AMEX. The Mastercard gets you an airmile for every £50 you spend.0

Now having 2 cards (which are linked) both with totally seperate Card numbers is just making it a little confusing IMO.
I'd still prefer to just have one Card, even if it meant receiving less 'Airmiles'.
But thanks anyway for the info Thomas.0 -

Scorpio13, I'd be interested to know if you have SecureCode and/or ClickSafe enabled on either or both of your new Duo cards. See my thread re Lloyds Duo Cards (867101).
Thanks G0AOZ.0
