My parents have had Central Heating recently fitted with 6 radiators (5 have TRVs) and the one without a TRV is in the Hallway. They have been using an astronomical amount of gas (13-16 metric units a day though 2 gas fires are also used in rooms with no central heating plus my parents both like the house hot). I have been helping them in trying to reduce heat and am making small changes every day and noting the meter readings every 24 hours at the same time. I shall post back in the next few days with some results after I've adjusted some TRVs and it will be interesting to see the results
