Joey Vouchers Back in at Asda & BOGOF

  • I've just been out and rifled through the recycle bin to find the discarded Fitness cereal box with the Joey coupon on the side . What a vicarious thrill when I found it.
Off to tesco this afternoon to stock up on Birds Eye beef in gravy !

  • Joey coupons were previously to be found on packets of Shredded Wheat. I got several packets over several weeks, and although I managed to get away with having £3 deducted off my shopping on several occasions, my local Tesco eventually got wise to this and put a block on their automatic checkout machines so that they would not accept the voucher. They also instructed their staff not to accept the coupons, unless purchasing the box set.

Me and my mum both used the Joeys vouchers in Tesco today and they accepted wihout any fuss. Thank god, bought all this packs of cereal and was panicking I wouldn't be able to use the vouchers. :T

Yup used a couple of Joey vouchers today with my Tesco shop - Also bought a couple of 4 pack Wilkinson Sword Quatro blades, priced at £2.98 - Each with the £3 vouchers on the back (Suppose to be £3 off an 8 pack).

Just removed the vouchers after they'd removed the security case and handed em in with the Joey Vouchers.
    £12 saved on a £50 shop. :A

Anyone know if the Joey offer is coming to an end? Not the vouchers but the actual offer on the back of the packets?

why is she boycotting them? she will be happy when you explain how they paid you to eat their cereal!
Technically it is not Nestle that are paying us to eat their cereal, it's Warner Bros who make Joey... so for those boycotting Nestle it's not a reason to start buying their stuff. After all, Nestle are making loads of money out of us MSErs at the moment! (although we're obviously making a profit as well ;))

And yes, it does look like the promotion is coming to an end and the Joey packs are being gradually replaced by other packs (with Miriam Stoppard on, I think...). It is worth keeping your eyes peeled though, as some stores might suddenly find some old stock. I found a few packs of Joey Triple Berry Shredded Wheat in Sainsbury's yesterday and it was BOGOF :)
  • For weeks ive been wondering what the hell you lot are on about with your Joey vouchers and as im now a keen voucher collector I wanted a piece of the action.

I found the cereal in question in my local asda and i actually love the cereal so no regrets in buying it.

Cautiously only bought one pack though until i see how easy it is to redeem my £3 voucher.

Can it be redeemed at asda? or does it have to be tesco?
    Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £60
  • i've just seen fitness in sainsburys with the joeys on for £1.98 but they are not on bogof so its only a saving of £1.02, better than nothing
  • In theory Asda can take any coupon as long as they stock the product, only 3 identical coupons per transaction and shouldn't be more than 10% of the total bill unless you are buying the product (eg free Butter with coupon).

It does vary from store to store and they are a bit stricter due to some customers kicking the **** out of it, so go steady.

Also if Sainsburys or whoever have special offers in their leaflets (not newspaper ads) , take your copy in and Asda will match like for like.

EG BOGOF Coke. Or Sainburys own brand toilet rolls would = asda's own brand.

Must be in date, max of 3 per customer and quite often the bigger brands will be on offer across all the supermarkets anyway so you'll get a double discount.
When it comes to thought, some people stop at nothing.........
