Joey Vouchers Back in at Asda & BOGOF

Official Insert

Hiya, just thought I would add a quick note at the top of this to calrify exactly what you need to do.

1. There are buy one get one free on Nestle Fitnesse cereal at Asda
2. Each box includes a voucher for £3 off a new Joey box set
3. So spend £3.56, get £12 worth of vouchers
4. The sneaky bit is that Asda (and sometimes Tesco's) will often accept these coupons against shopping, even if you don't buy the Joey box set. However, it is at the store managers discretion whether or not they will allow this.

Just nipped into Asda Barnsley for a couple of things and thought I'd give the cereal aisle a browse.

Spotted shelf full of Nestle Fitnesse (Plain) all with Joey DVD & £3 vouchers on side.

Strange thing was, the shelf just gave a roll-back price from £1.98 to £1.78

Got a couple thinking spend £3.50+ get £6 in vouchers to be pleasantly suprised at the checkout when it rang up as BOGOF £-1.78 :j Needless to say, I went back for a couple more packs.

[update] Just checked Asda Online and they are on special offer of BOGOF until 15/09/05 only the online price shows £1.98 and not the store rollback price of £1.78.

£12 in Joey vouchers for £3.56 - Tesco for the next shop it is :D

I know some people think they taste like cardboard by my 4yr old son loves em. The last time I got the Fitnesse with berries etc.. Only the awkward !!!!!! didn't like the dried fruit so I had to sieve them out.

Not this time :rotfl:

The Joey £3 vouchers that are on the side of the Fitness cereal are suppose to be used as £3 off the Joey DVD's (Yes the guy from Friends series). BUT Tesco's in all their wisdom accept these vouchers regardless of whether you've bought the Joey DVD or not. Their voucher rules just state that they must sell/stock the item (which they do). Just had em in at the till and get £3 off your shopping.

If your lucky the cashier may accept more than 1 £3 Joey voucher per transaction.

So you buy a box of Fitnesse from Asda at £1.78 which are currently on BOGOF, giving you 2 * £3 Joey vouchers = £6. Which you use at Tesco's to reduce your shopping bill.

If you look at it another way, your being paid £4.22 to eat two boxes of cereal.

Vouchers are valid till September 2006

Hi twixeey,I tried to use a joey voucher in my local Asda, they wouldnt accept it because they dont stock the product it is valid for, but they did say one of their bigger shops might take it ,

Asda should accept it if the store stocks the products. My local store has the Joey Boxset and has accepted these coupons without me buying the product but I know that others have had them refused.

As with all coupons, whether they are accepted seems to vary from store to store and checkout operator to checkout operator.

Just give it a go and if they don't take them try another store in the area. From experience I have found that Tesco are the most consistant at accepting coupons but there is still a variation between checkout operators - some will scan anything with a barcode and others will examine the vouchers individually and hand back printer internet ones. I just smile and take them back, then try them again on my next shop.
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!

The Asda in Hatfield Herts.. won't take any vouchers unless you have bought the goods.

Just used another Joey in tesco on a £6 spend of mostly Birds Eye Beef in Gravy 114g - ended up paying less than £3 and getting over 400 clubcard point with it. Happy days.
