I would assume (with all the yes posts) they can be used where countries issue VISA Electron.

Really thats funny because i saw 4 people in my local city centre branch(Halifax) round the corner from our office being signed up for exactly this account.0 -

I am pretty sure you can get an electron still from bank of scotland/Halifax
It's the account you get offered if you fail the credit score test.

Nope, It couldn't have been Cardcash. Halifax stopped that for new customers a few months ago. There is Easycash which is a basic bank account with an ATM card or there is the full facility current account.0
