Changing tariff but not supplier

Using Energyhelplines website the search came up with a big saving. However, it was with NPower who I am already with, just a differen't tariff. Do I just continue with the process of change regardless or will the fact I am already with them cause problems?

Ask your current supplier to put you on the tariff that you want, if they won't, switch to a better supplier!

Many people have posted with this problem, some have phoned Npower and been told they can they can move, others have been told they can't..

Is this the online 10 tarrif?

Hi,

Yes it is the online 10 tariff. Have just phoned NPower who said that was ok but I needed current Gas/Elec readings, didn't have them to hand so will be calling back.
