H&L Loyalty bonus

What happens to the Loyalty bonus on H&L accounts? I see a balance on my account but it is not shown as available to invest.

Take a look at the 'What can I do with my Loyalty Bonus?' FAQ which can be found on the 'Portfolio administration' tab.

I confess I have not looked at the FAQ but I think they say that once the bonus gets to a certain amount (£5?) you can write to them saying what you want them to do with the money. That could be sending it to you or adding it to the amount available to invest.

H&L transfer the funds from the Income account to the Capital account once a month, so those monies are only available after they are moved so I assume the same is so with the loyalty bonus.

I have had the argument :mad: with them a few times as to why I should have to wait until a certain date chosen by them until I can use the funds, but it is all in the T&C

Loyalty bonus never moves to the Capital Account. The only thing you can do with it is draw it out or ask them to transfer which would then become part of your ISA contribution.
