There is a Clarks factory/outlet shop in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. I bought 2 pairs of Clarks shoes there last week for £25.

Can confirm that, as you would expect immediately before the start of the new school year, the Clarke's outlet shop at K-Village in Kendal was charging their usual £19 ish for all kids shoes at the weekend, whereas adult shoes were on all sorts of good offers.

£19 is still 1/3 off though, but the choice in girls shoes in the 9-13 foot size was very poor - nearly all sandals and just a couple of styles of 'winter' shoes.

We do try and go every time we're in Kendal - last month I got two pairs of £60 mens shoes for £10 per pair!

These 'factory' outlets are a little tongue-in-cheek now, considering that, despite the Kendal one actually once being a K's/Clarke's factory, I believe that NONE of their shoes are now made in the UK at all!
    British Ex-pat in British Columbia!
  • One at Freeport Castleford (Glass Houghton) and one at McArthur Glen outlet at the intersection of the a19 and a64 near York too. Usually around 1/3 off, and they can be old stock or slight seconds.
  • Went to the one at Cheshire Oaks when we over in June to stock up, i believe they're last seasons and i got 4 pairs of sandals and pair of doodles for £80 total, much cheaper than normal shop and my two boys don't know or care! ;)

We have Clarks here and they're 25-50% more exp again

  • Yes there is a Clarkes outlet in Blackpool. It is at the end of the M55 right next door to a huge Tesco :j . The stock of school shoes for boys however is very limited. Both of my boys were not impressed. Seemed to have a lot more girl shoes though.

I went to the Doncaster one on saturday too. I was not impressed. Both my children have wide feet. DS is 9 and DD is size 10 1/2 (both under 4) and I was told that only selected styles come in H fitting and they they stocked none of them. DD managed to find some G fittings that where okay but poor DS has none :(

I always check out the Blackpool shop before going to the full price shop.
