Help!!!!

I have to move out of a house in Late Sep.

My Jack Russel has made short work of the back lawn. No probs thought I as I bough a few rolls of turf at weekend and turned soil over and laid on top, now I have some curled up dead turf sitting proud of the ground any ideas?

What can I do to get turf to take?

you need to water/soak it every day..
  • also you need to make sure you overlap the turf a bit with the existing grass as it will probabaly shrink a little bit. You ahve to flatten the edges down as well else it dries and curls using a plank of wood over the join - Mr fluffy describes this as "doing the penguin" which I think is a good description of the movement involved. As above - water water water - alos dont buy turf fromt he likes of BandQ get it from a garden centre - only a bit more expensive but much better as its freshly cut and not dried out before you get it.
