    When the account is activated it updates on your login automatically. I applied recently and it did it a couple of days before I got my card. I think I got an email confirming I'd been accepted at this point as well.

    Yes, as it happens, it just appeared last night!

    Cool.

    You don't need your card number to log in but you will to activate.

    Go to the YOUR MONEY tab and you will see your credit limit etc even before the card arrives.

    Historically it's varied, it's usually February or March, but definately yearly, and has always been credited for (IIRC) March's 'payment due date.' (i.e. it reduces the amount for March's bill)
