Claiming back credit card interest

Forgive me if this subject has already been tackled but I can't find it on previous topics.
When reclaiming charges for overlimit and late payment fees is it also possible for us to claim back the interest that we have been charged on those fees. For example I was charged £18.00 for an overlimit fee back in December 2002, would I not have been charged the same 17.9% interest that I was charged on other purchases? and if so is it only fair that I am allowed to claim that back also?
Or maybe I'm just being greedy!

As far as I know you'll get it back. Otherwise there'd be nothing to stop them intentionally wrongly putting a penalty onto people's accounts so that they run up additional costs and then refunding the original penalties as unfair charges.0
