Xbox 360 Elite- Best Price?

My son has been looking at buying an xbox 360 elite and the best price we have found is £249.99 with amazon with free delivery. Is this the current best price around?

    A quick check on pricerunner shows that as the best price, I can't see it any cheaper at any of the shops I tend to use. Short of ebay or a personal import that's probably your best bet.

    Thanks for the reply. We have searched most engines and my son has told me this is the best price so at least we know it is good.

    We wont buy on ebay for this though.

    Recently ive seen some adverts on tv showing i think the GTA game at the end its cuts to an Xbox 360 and a game and shows a price of around £160 and a date of some kind im not positive but that may mean a price cut is coming soon.

    So its maybe a good idea to do more digging around.

    I really hate Amazon free delivery too lately they have taken 2-3 or more weeks to deliver stuff so maybe look at buying it from http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-/3356849/Xbox-360-Elite-Console/Product.html?dpr=2524 where its also free delivery.
