I am at the verge of selling my house. Will be getting some extra cash from equity release. My question is what is best, least time consuming way to get the money form the sale-Cheque free but takes time to come nto account, also goes into current account with poor interest.Time again on transferring it to toher accounts.
Bank transfer there is a 35 quid charge, but again where to?can I opena savings ccount and ask for ttransfer?
any one with similar experience?

The trick is to have a savings account adjacent to your current account .... so you can make an instant online transfer. Interest wise it's probably best to pay for a CHAPS transfer direct to your current account. That arrives as cleared funds - and you move it immediately to the savings account? If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
