daughters rights-abusive neighbour

hello friends!!!need some help...I live in the a second floor flat..year ago i had a falling out with neighbour below me, she had a go at my daughter for feedin ducks. She. is a gossip and acts the victim to get people on her side( not that i feel there is any to be). The flat had never been designed to be an old folks home or void of children. Another neighbour flipped his lid the other day and started f'in and blinding and yells he is sick of the kids running around the place and they should not be in the building. he then starts to square up to my other half and goad my partner. We say we are not intimidated by him and ask if he is threatening us. he yells f-off and now is dead eyeing us. oh yes he keeps saying ' do you know who iam? petty i know by my attempts to resolve via the leasehold is brushed off. The gossips partner is also the spokesman for us tenants. I have contacted the police as i feel my daughter has a right to enjoy the garden and her rights are being infringed. I have also called a solictor as i want this nipped in the bud and to send a strong message that i will not tolerate intimidation...ok my friends have i got abit to hasty...Spids

That's terrible :( and such a shame that you can't lead a 'normal' family life because of these mean people. I'm sure that some people forget what it was like to be little or even what it's like to parent a little one. Can't offer you any advice I'm afraid but just wanted to post to wish you the best of luck in sorting it out. I know it's prob not a great prospect as it may be seen to be 'backing down' but moving may be a good option.

If you have problems with your neighbours dog, what you need is a bigger, meaner dog.
Bankruptcy isn't the worst that can happen to you. The worst that can happen is your forced to live the rest of your life in abject poverty trying to repay the debts.

I stayed quiet earlier as I thought the story would develop and I'd have a better understanding. On first pass, this is what my first thoughts were:
she had a go at my daughter for feedin ducks.
It depends what they were being fed and in which season. It can be fatal I believe.
The flat had never been designed to be an old folks home or void of children.
Maybe also not a Theme Park for kids.
yells he is sick of the kids running around the place
Enough to wear the nerves of a saint if they are running around the place. Communal hallways have a way of really resounding, especially if it's not noise originating from your own homestead.
my attempts to resolve via the leasehold is brushed off.
Can't comment as no details on what you did/said and the response.
I have contacted the police as i feel my daughter has a right to enjoy the garden and her rights are being infringed.
We've no idea about the garden. My neighbour had a visitor the other day and her kid was running around my garden, because the garden isn't communal. I let it go that once. I don't see it's a police issue.
I have also called a solictor as i want this nipped in the bud and to send a strong message that i will not tolerate intimidation
One man's intimidation is another person's assertiveness at being thoroughly f00ked off.

Not enough detail really for us to comment, advise, give opinions or anything.

Just an odd place to rant.
