    I made a water butt out of a dustbin. I bought the plastic tap from Wickes...it was only a couple of quid. You need to punch or drill a hole in the bottom of the dustbin first. The tap package contains everything you need.

  • Whatever you decide to use, make sure you stand it on a few bricks with a paving slab on top. That way you'll have a steady base and be able to get the watering can under the tap.
