My sky+ will not work and after switching everything off and switch back again, it works. Pl can you tell me why suddently it did not work & I had to reboot it. I thought the batteries need changing and find it difficult to remove the cover. I am still unable to remove the batter's cover on the sky+ and am afraid to damage it. Please can you help.

am i missing something, to remove the batteries it should just be a case of pushing the clip slightly with one hand, then pulling the cover of with other hand whilst pushing in the clipTake every day as it comes!!0

Push the clip slightly? On mine, I actually have to prise it open with a screwdriver.0

lol, i got 2, one for downstairs, and one for upstairs, i actually broke the clip on of them pushing it to far, but the other just just needs a slight push, and the cover comes off sweet as a nutTake every day as it comes!!0

It is not that easy, never had any problem with the other remote control. It seems I am not the only who cannot remove the battery cover, it sounds so simple. Have just done a google search. Took it to neighbours and nobody was able to remove the cover. It seems to have stuck. Will have another go and I guess will break the damn thing. Thanks.0

Mine too is stuck, but found the trick. You do not use the clip !!!! The "clip" is just use for friction, creating a tight fit. The black cover swings away from the bottom , hinging on the upper middle section. IE it does not slide off, but swings open from the bottom, still connected to the upper central "hinge". Use a small screwdriver to gently push on the light grey plastic near the "clip" and the cover comes apart.
