energy efficient laptops?

Does anyone know which type of laptops are the most energy efficient and saves the most power. For instance is there a diiference between a portable laptop and a desktop replacement in power usage?

Which type of specs uses the less power? or would I use less power if I go for integrated graphics rather than a graphics card?

Don't power from the mains, run off batteries and recharge from solar cells.
Just plug the the !!!!!!!g thing in and leave it on all day or don't turn it on. PS you cannot save energy its gone just use it if, you dont someone else will, 'tis true.
