    I think you have misunderstood my previous post, sorry for not being clearer, if i could maybe explain ?

    Firstly I seriously doubt your PSU is overheating.

    What is more likely is that the amps or watts on your PSU are not sufficient to deal with a fluctuation in demand that you are putting on it.

    A temporary loss of power to the GFX Card / CPU directly or obviously the motherboard can cause the machine to shut down.

    The 6600Gt card is a monster and will swallow up your supply.
    My gut reaction is 350W may not be enough but try the link and see what it suggests.

    HI,

    I would suggest that you try motherboard monitor 5 (google: MBM5) and see your temperatures---if they are running over 60C then you need more colling fans.
