:hello: Hi :hello:
I work at Wickes and I thought I would share some tips for you to get the most out of your money.
But the most important tip is ............ BE NICE
:D:D
If you're nice to someone at Wickes then I can promise you that you will receive excellent customer service. But if you start being rude and nasty don't expect a lot of help as one builder found out after he made quite a few racist and offensive remarks infront of a long queue of customers at 8:30 in the morning
PS - If you need any help in regards to Wickes don't hesitate in contacting me !!:A:cool::A

- If you see any 'bust' bags of building materials ask a colleague (politely please) and they will be able to reduce it down for you. I usually knock off 30 - 50 pence. :j
- Please don't go around ripping opening bags insight of colleagues and then try to ask for a discount - you wont get it and you'll be in the 'Bad Book'
- If you buy a pack of anything (tiles, flooring, timber, etc) keep the receipt and bring back any singles that you have got left within 6 months and you will get refunded on them at single price meaning you get more money back than what you paid :T

Thanks for that info, do Wickes stock outside wooden gates that are about 1.58 meters wide as we will be needing one very soon?0

Dont open anything unless you are 100% sure it will fit because they will charge you 25% for the pleasure should you need to take it backMy opinions are purely my own act on them at your own risk :think:0

Don't know which Wickes store you've been to because I work on the shopfloor, tills and desk and have always given a full refund if a receipt is present along with the goods. Also it depends on how you open the packaging. If you rip it to bits and then bring it back saying 'i dont really like it' you can't really expect a full refund as we do have to resell them:mad: Student Current Accounts = - £3400
