Confused as to what insurance I need for Mortgage

Going through the process of re-doing our mortgage but I don't want to take the insurance they offer as it's £80+ a month

I'm a bit confused as to what insurance I need to take out for myself and the wife, Mortgage Life Assurance, Permanent Health insurance, unemployment etc???

110K mortgage over 21 years
both 29

If I were to pass away or get a critical illness I would like the mortgage paid off. If I am off work sick and my sick pay ends or made un-employed I'd like the mortgage and possibly bills to be paid if I can't work

For my wife I would just like the mortgage paid off if she were to pass away or get a critical illness.

Please advise what cover I should take out and where should I buy it from? I've seen some links to cavendish which people seem to use

Many thanks
