Ebay half price listing days

hi all,
was trying to wait for a special listing day to sell some stuff. havent seen a day since feb. i thought they were quite frequent?? or is this a thing of the past?
any ideas?

Given that insertion fees have been cut so much already, promotions are likely to take a different format, such as free gallery or free international exposure.
Listing on eBay has never been too expensive, but successful selling on eBay is where the money is. A few promotions based around reduced final value fees would be more beneficial to sellers, but would cost eBay a lot more.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
