Just connect to broadband with Plusnet's 1Gb a month limit and would like to put a useage monitor on computer.
I'm not at all techy, so which free one is easiest to download\set up\use please?

Another vote for 'Netmeter' here ,Excellent application.Indeed. We also break your usage down by type (eg. web, email, ftp etc.) so you can see exactly what's contributing to your monthly usage.
Regarding a local application to monitor usage, I'm using this at this moment.
