Best time of year to buy conservatory??

We are thinking of buying a conservatory - but want an all-inclusive solution - i.e. can't be bothered with the DIY route or buying at B&Q and finding a local builder. So we will get quotes from several companies, but have two questions for you MSE'ers -
When is the best time of year to get a good deal? I'm thinking poss Nov -Jan.
Is the benefit of a good deal potentially outweighed by the frustrations I might experience in the build process/quality of finish etc due to bad weather during winter months??
All thoughts welcome.
Thanks

If you're happy to sell it to me at a price I am happy to pay - then I want it cheaper.

Ok get one in anytime of year price wise as a conservatory that you order from a company will be made to measure and the plastic is bought in by lengths and made to measure, best time to have done though is summertime as wheelbarrows going in and out of the garden wont make too much of an impact on dry hard soil, and theres a chance of less salt coming out of the bricks if you have a dwarf wall built.0

Ive just been having quotes and the saving on DIY is huge have a look at the site below then get a builder in to put it up and do the base i have found that double glazing places charge a huge amount.
The ones in B+Q and Homebase etc arnt as good quality

Thanks for that - I was under the, probably mistaken, impression that there would be quiet period for conservatory companies where bigger discounts would be available. i.e. the winter months.
As for DIY, I am looking for a company that does the complete job and uses its own fitters. Perhaps again I am under the mistaken belief that they should provide a better solution than a builder who is not working with the same product day in day out.
Ultimately, cost does play an important factor - but I am prepared to pay a couple of £k extra if I can afford it and it increases the likelihood of a hassle free solution. (Not very MSE, I know)If you're happy to sell it to me at a price I am happy to pay - then I want it cheaper.0 -
Well ive ordered mine from the above company and should be here in a month
The cheapest quote i got for a conseratory company to do the base and put a conservatory up was £5500 i just bought one from Redbrook for £2550.10 and was a lot higher spec with more openings and a roof vent and large in size so a £3000 saving !
I would ring around some builders some have conservatory experience (in my area anyway) and get some quotes on erecting and doing the base.0 -
Winter months(nov) the best time to buy imo,you will get better discounts0
