    Evening all,
Good to see all the bargains everyone has been getting, wish I could be that lucky on a boots trip!! Recently I have noticed a number of comments that are really unecessary or havn't been thought out before posting, for instance an earlier post about looking like a black & white minstrel. The black and white minstrels were used to take the mick out of black people and people could take offense to a comment like that, if people carry on the way that they are going, this thread will be scrapped which will be a big loss to everyone. So PLEASE can we stop & think before we post from now on.

    Thanks

I am sorry you are offended by my post. I am very upset that you feel the need to tell me to think before I post! Who put you in charge, I said nothing wrong! The black and white mistrel show was a variety tv programme from my younger days and as far as it "taking the mick out of black people" that is your opinion of the show, not mine. I am totally flabbergasted by your post.
If anything it would be poking fun at the white singers who wore the black make up and looked silly in my comparing myself with a chocolate face mask on.
I am going now, said my bit, dont even know who you are! never seen you post before.

If anyone else shares the view of sweeter than sugar please let me know!

    k.

well said that woman.. I had to sit on my hands so I didnt comment on that other post (by STS)!

geordie-lass best you can do with acm voucher of BOGOF is to combine with 3 for 2 that I think runs till Tuesday. It is on 'MG range and thickening shampoos are £4.99.

PC conditioner voucher is for Trevor Sorbie 'proffesional' range, which is on 2 for £7 and can also use 100pts acm, so therefore £7.00-£4.49 conditioner = £2.51 and 100pts.

boo-2112 acm's are not daft unfortunately, even if you leg it like a nutter to machines in same building or the next store :(

Yorkshirepud will not let me pm to give address...grrrr!

passion8 your comments about No7 made me nearly pee

pash I am very happy girly, sorry I never texted a pic, I got told nnooooo lol

all and sundry ... I have been informed tonight that if you have olay pc or no7 pc vouchers expiring 31/05 you certainly would be better holding on to them as acm/mag/general offers/spits etc will happily accomodate them before that expiry date, so do not go thinking the 3 for 2 on presently is the best way :)

Broclo... I cant believe you did what you was told, (he said nooooo) what kind of a sad sack are you! lol
secondly, please tell me that you did not spend THE WHOLE EVENING talking about BOOTS?!?!
and thirdly, when you promise to text me.. TEXT ME!!!!!!!!!! lol x :rotfl:
I was worried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! see your PM!

    Hi everyone!

Haven't been here for a long time and have really lost touch with bootsing- how did i ever survive!!!! :p

Actually, I have a 3 yr old DD and am 7 months pregnant, so when it comes to deciding between sitting at the computer or having a nap when DD goes to bed is a no contest really - going to sleep always wins hands down!:D

I'll be really grateful if fellow Kent bootsers on this thread could tell me if it's worth going to the Bluewater store - i'd hate to drag myself there and then find out it's been a wasted, exhausting trip.

    thanks.

    Hiya ishrav :hello: ,

Congratulations on your pregnancy, hope it's all going well!
I don't seem to find many bargains in the Bluewater store.
Last week the clearance had disappeared and they were doing some filming of an SA near where it had been!
There wasn't much (if anything) reduced on the normal shelves either.
If there's something in particular you were after, PM me and I'll give you more info (if I can!).

    Take care, Jenny

    :D

Which one is your local ?( I noticed the North wales !) I went to Rhyl last week and it was pants for bargains! I was most disappointed ( hummingbird eyeshadows £5.50!!) don't worry I'm not after the above offer but just some info so I can ask you next time I'm on my travels esp as summer months coming often out that way!!

I'm not posting my location publicly as we all know that the Bootboys at Head Office read these threads!!! I go to quite a few on my travels - last week I got loads of the Smile toothbrushes at Rhyl - 25p each and BOGOF, and they also had the little wallet sized photo albums there for £1.25 each and BOGOF. These work with the 200 points ACM voucher too! Worth looking near the photo dept. for the best offers in that shop!!;)

Afternoon everyone - can't believe I have just been into Boots dressed as I am.

Because it is St.Georges Day on Wednesday, we had a parade today for local Districts of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies & Guides (hope I haven't missed any). I am a leader and so had to march in my uniform. Marched passed the entrance to Boots and I swear I felt it tugging me  .

Two hours later on the way back to the car with 1 beaver and 1 cub (my DS's tho), I couldn't help myself and had to go in and look at clearance.

Managed to get one of each of the Hummingbird eyeshadows for £1.00 each :j (not to mention a few funny looks at my necker). Was worth it as been after these for a while.

I will be a very glam camper with all my Boots goodies on the next cub camp.:rotfl:

Is this a nationwide thing, or was this is Canterbury;) as my son did it today too

Permission to join the PAH! club please!!!

Handed over tweezers - SA says you can't have them as it's not cosmetics - asked her to try anyway and of course it worked. Handed over my two UG shampoo & conditioners and SA grabbed the voucher out of my basket and scanned the conditioner first, then the half price voucher and then the shampoo, leaving £6.45 to pay??? I pointed out they were on £6 for 2 and she said "Oh no - you can't have TWO offers on the same thing!". Oh really???

Cancelled that one and scooted over to the tills on the other side and asked them to put it all through. Result? £3.50 to pay for two lush products!

    PAH!!! :D

P.S. Clarins on offer in my store too - 1000 points WYB2 - no GWPs though.

permission granted Freebird... as you used it so well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its such a great word isnt it.. so.. ermmm descriptive!
Pash (take out the "s" and what do you get PAH!!!!!!!!!!) xxx :rotfl:

Would just like to say thank you to everyone that has congratulated me on my recent engagement :j :j :j I'm sooo happy lol :D:D:D

Just to keep it Boots related, have no idea when they change over, at a guess I would say its the last Wednesday of the month because they are still giving out the current ones and they usually have a break between the two and the current ones are valid until the 30th April which is a Wednesday...Even though I'm not sure, I'm just glad its not something like £2 off Photo Development lol...Although I did want to get quite a few photos printed for my BOGOF + 200AC points albums :rotfl:

Anyone know of a MSE way to print off cheap photos with Boots, or even elsewhere? TIA

I worked out that if you use the mag £3 off 30+ photos this way, you can't get 'em cheaper. I've had one set back and have just sent another 6

Print 50 photos 7x6 (Standard) on 24 hour printing. This headlines at £7.50.
When you buy them, hand over the £3 voucher - giving you 50 photos at £4.50, or 9p each. This is cheaper than 150+ on 24 hour.

    HTH
Slowly getting organised enough to actually write a signature...:rotfl:
Boots points: £72.75 when I lost it lol Tesco points 2140
    Pigsback £4.65 MSF £3.41

Hi Shoegal1 - you mean the march don't you and not the Bootsing in uniform!!
Must have been a nationwide thing, we do it every year. So am sure all other districts do it too.

Yeah I looked by the photo department, It was last Monday, the only decent thing they had was a vidal sassoon illuminated mirror for £15, thought that was good but had already treated myself to the No7 one when 1/2 price ( dearer too!!) I did see the photo wallet thingies had already got one in Chester ( not on bogoff in there) if I had known I would have picked up a couple more !! There are none local to me at all so kicking myself for not trying now!! Had DH and DD in tow...DH tutting at me as usual !!! I think he needs some lessons from passion8's OH!
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
