Hi all, this is a bit off topic, but i have some kids vitamins that i bought from Boots which contain all of the vitamins that they are now saying we should not take! i want to take them back to Boots but don`t have my receipt anymore, has anyone tried to take any back in light of this new health warning? Also do Boots not normally refund vitamins anyway?
Also does anyone know if a thread has been started on this topic?
    TIA

A year ago my husband went and spent 40 pounds on vitamins. I realized as soon as he got home they were not what I wanted -- gluchosamin (sp?) tabs, but only 250 mg each, meaning I'd have to take 4 a day to get the amount I want! No way! So I called back immediately (the store itself, not CS) and was told vitamins could not be returned, even though they had been purchased 30 minutes earlier and we had the receipt.

However, in light of the fact that yours have what is not recommended for kids, I'd call CS and plead my case. If they say no, well, yours will go in a drawer (like mine) or the trash.

i would phone and ask the store manager as it may be down to his/her discretion on healthcare returns, am trying to find out what time my local shuts tonight as trying to go back for some more nappies, if i don't use them one of my sisters will!

On a funny note today, my sister was with me today and she says can you pay for these for me ( a pk of boots own sani pads). So I paid using points, when we got outside she offered me the 99p, i said she didn't need to as she had already paid - i had used her abandoned boots card :rotfl:
I put a few quid in points on it from glitches as she is rather hard up at the moment, but if she had her card she would just waste the points on rubbish she can't help it, She did however nearly cry when i gave her a carrier bag full of stuff including loads of no7 make-up from the offers as she had to abandon all her stuff quickly a while back and couldn't cope without a face on - me its very rare to see me with my make-up on, i just look at it and think i'd never pay 10.25 for a highlights powder :rotfl: and then back it goes in the drawer...............:) :)
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D

  • Hi - just a quick question. Does Boots have a set policy regarding the use of Manufacturers coupons?? ie do you actually have to buy the product to use the coupons? or do they take them if Boots sell the products?? (or does it all depend on whether the SA scans it?) ...........

would be gratful for any help. thanks!X

Does anyone have link to t&c's which confirms that you can get a GWP when paying with points?

I know it is confirmed in post one, and some people have been given them, but also some have been refused. I have looked at the T&C's here But is does not mention a gwp. It shows exclusions, prescriptions etc, and its not in there neither.

I seem to remember something recently that could be printed out to confirm that the GWP could be given with points. Does anyone have such a link?

I remember that post...it was two threads ago.

I got an email from Boots CS that does confirm that you do get the GWP when you pay with points. I think I may have deleted it though, sorry. But it's a definate.
