Had a surreal shopping day today :)

Had a bath and got ready (getting ready took 10 minutes, and it showed lol)
Asked OH if he had the Bag For Life - he said: "I married her didn't I?" :D

We popped into a little local store, so I got some bits and bobs that I didn't
really need :o but wanted ;) Dabbed on a bit of concealer because I'd woken up with the biggest zit ever lol, and began to shop. Bought:

    :- TB toiletry bags - 2 for £5
:- Expert Twin razors - 99p but 100 points given
:- TD Starter Kit - £2.50 with the £5 till spit off
    And another till spit.

    Then bought
:- Expert dental mirror 25p but 100 points given
    :- Radox deodorant - 50p
    :- Mum roll-on deodorant - 2 for 56p
    :- Parissa waxing strips - £1.82 (reduced by 75% I think)
    :- Boots Smooth Naturally - £1.50 (also reduced by 75% I think)
:- Naked Simmering Body Cream - 2 for £3.50 (no bogof)

    And another till spit.

Then - bumped into Rubes!! (not literally or I'd have sent her flying lol - she's tiny!) but she's also very lovely, as is her OH, who looked a bit uncomfortable lol), so spent an age gassing, as you do ;).

I kept calling her by the wrong name because she's the double of OH's cousin lol, and then I forgot her username! Oh dear me, not sure what first impressions were made, but I wished I'd spent longer than 10 minutes getting ready. I looked like I'd been dragged through a hedge backwards :o lol

Meanwhile, OH had taken both baskets through the till, and we got chatting a bit more. Then I showed her the clearance shelf (my second home lately lol) told her the Naked wasn't on bogof because I'd checked the receipt, compared photo albums, mine's pink, hers is lilac btw lol, squared up with what I owed her, because she's the real bargain finder ;) and left the store as we were visiting DD.

Bumped into Rubes again, and she showed me her till receipt. The Naked was bogof! - well it was for Rubes lol, (and which is why I might ask her to do my future shopping ;)).

Got back to the car, realised we'd forgotten our Saturday special - 2 x steak bakes lol, so as the baker's is nearly next door to Boots, oh whipped in and got the £1.75 refund!

Sorry the shopping list's a bit boring, and I waffled on a bit, but it proves one thing - the tills, or SA's, aren't always right. Are they Rubes? :rotfl:

Hope you all had a good days Bootsing - back off to DD's soon, so cya later x

sorry for interupting, but I have to ask: is it any good the swirly cream? I never bought it, but I love the body spray and body scrub.

And, by the way, I think I will buy another TD starter kit, just used it and I like it (and I like them being small and having their bag, got tired of taking 4 big pots and bottles in the bed to do my night ritual. It's well worth the 2.50.

Hiya  I used it for the first time this morning (after using the body scrub in the shower) and my skin feels really soft now (lovely smell too :))

Hey Buffy. Boots had the Midnight poison gift sets reduced to £25.75 about 5/6 weeks ago. They had the 50ml eau de parfum, Satin body lotion, and the silky black bag with the Big D on it. I bought myself some as I love it.

I dont use the body lotion, so sold it with the bag on ebay. Keep an eye on it as I am sure it will go down again. This is the one I bought

Sorry for the big photo, keep trying to make it smaller, but no luck!!!!!!!!!

Ooh! Fingers crossed that the ones in my store get reduced further then :D I'm a real Dior perfume fan (I'm by no means a designer girl, I just happen to love the Dior perfumes) and my favourite are Poison/Pure Poison/Midnight Poison/Addict (the original) Will keep an eye on that shelf in store then!
