Moisture quench day fluid is what they call P&P apparently it's a different name as op in uSA have problem with pronounciation (or something) of Protect & Perfect. I think they will say the accent on the per rather than on the fect IYKWIM
Didnt you know that the people in USA put the stuff on ebay with prices for shipping to UK. Coals to Newcastle springs to mind :T :T :T HTH0 -

No it's not! I'm from the West Country, all the family is from the West Country and this was/is a common phrase in our house. I've lived all round England and heard it pretty much everywhere.
I do find it funny how certain regions think certain sayings are theirs when they are actually used all over LOL. When I visited bf's (now ex) parents in Glasgow they insisted that I'd picked up saying "Aye" from them - when I'd been saying for about 10 years having picked it up in Lancashire:D
Ah well, there's nowt so queer as folk!!:T
Of course there are some phrases that are regional - but I find those are the ones that folk assume are used all over:rolleyes:
To keep it Bootsie - just printed of the lists of things to buy... just realised there are 9 stores within (mostly) easy reach of me....time to stop getting recognised :rotfl: :rotfl: :beer:Slowly getting organised enough to actually write a signature...:rotfl:Boots points: £72.75 when I lost it lol Tesco points 2140

Glos store had loads of the stuff. Absolute peanuts to buy which is why you wonder can it be any good.
I know liquid stuff is pretty tricky to send in the parcels but also hampering up the stuff for children to gift to parents is an idea. Ok it's dirt cheap & not everyones bag but for £1 a hamper all in, kids can afford it, pimped up in cellophane & ribbon.
Morning
The deodorants are 10p locally hogshead, so I'd look out for those for kids to make hampers with. (Haven't tried it though). The handcream is usually peanuts too, and I know people use this and like it, but it's too runny for me.Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive. ~ Sir Walter Scott0 -
Why can't I use colours for my text?
If you can see the codes eg [ color = red ]wordy word words[/ color], then you just need to make sure your text is between the [] [] sections (which shouldn't have spaces in...I put them there so you can see them LOL!)
Both Firefox and Opera show the codes, for me anyway. IE6 at work shows a WYSIWYG format.
In that case try typing everything, then highlighting the appropriate bits and colouring them that way.

I picked one up on the clearance section and it was priced at 10p! Well, never one to miss up a bargainI thought it would look nicer in my basket than on the shelf lol. But it seemed a bit on the cheap side, so I thought rather than be embarrassed at the till by a SA saying, "can't possibly have that for 10p" lol, I took it to the No7 SA to price check.
She said it was 10p because "they couldn't get rid of them".
I said to OH, "I'll soon get rid of them for her at that price" lol.
So I bought the lone 10p eye pallette, asked OH to put his foot down in the car so that I could post on here to [strike] gloat [/strike]mention it, and sat back to admire it.
There was no eyeshadow in the top two compartments, and a dodgy looking eyeshadow in the bottom! :rotfl:
So I guess that's a case of Buyer Beware lol, so make sure there's either a plastic sleeve around it, or that it's complete
Off for a bathx

From what I can recall I think that the whole range is practcally under 30p an item in the Glos store.
I know it's not Expert, Olay, No7 re quality or price ( you get what you pay for ) but for that price I wondered if it was worth making some hampers up for children to gift out at spring fayres, offer out to refuges etc.
I kow you get what you pay for but I know some read these pages & try out different ranges ( I certainly have ) so was hoping for some feedback on the range.
On another note I HOPE all this back biting nonsence ends ASAP as I just don't get it. It's wasting time reading past it to get to the informative stuff. I love chatting, makes this thread fun but nit picking make friends brake friends crap doesn't cut it for me.
Whoever you are just let it go on the board or do it but via PM so we don't all have to read it, that way people can add you to ignore & the pm's will not get through! .... I'm bored stiff of it.0 -

Hi HH
I got the toothpaste for 8p for shoeboxes. I did get a handcream from the range but it was horrible so that put me off the range. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
