Please answer something before I leave home: Can you exchange something in a Boots that you bought in another Boots? I can't go back to where I bought something because it's too far...

OMG, I have done exactly that with Boots logo! Glad i'm not the only one :o

KJ1980 - don't think they have cheese and pickle, though they are one of my faves too. :p

Thanks sk, cant believe Boots doesn't do good old cheese and pickle.

Might need to give CS a call. I mean come on, this has to be the best sandwich ever.

Or are just me and SK going to be campaigning for Cheese and Pickle sandwiches in Boots.

PASH, when you told me that my excuse to go to Boots was to do the sandwich run, you never said that no chesse and pickle sandwiches were there.

Well I am off to write to CS, to campaign for Cheese and pickle sandwiches. Don't want none of those fancy sandwiches with ingredients I can't even pronounce.

So if you want to get Cheese and Pickle sandwiches in Boots sign on the pickle line_______________________

And I am seriously thinking to myself today, shall I go to Boots and thinking of WHY I need to go........

Quite tempted to go to see if SK is telling me the truth, I thinking you are fibbing that there are no cheese and pickle sandwiches.

Can you imagine the redness of my face when asking the SA "so is it true you don't stock cheese and pickle"? Like I need more attention brought to myself, with my £2 cosmetic sash and bright red cheeks and my mini photo album!

    Hi SS

So do you think the code will be unique or valid for all, as that would be amazing if its a general code........bring on the shopping!!!

Bloomin' annoying, isn't it? My advice though? Hold your head up, give the security guard a polite smile then ignore him. Do your shopping, be pleasant to the till girls and just keep going in. You're not doing anything wrong and eventually they'll get used to you. There will be a security camera on you everywhere you go anyway so what's the difference?

I'm nearly fifty, inoffensive looking in a well scrubbed way and don't tend to carry suspicious looking bags around but our latest security guard in my main Boots has obviously noticed I'm in a lot these days and that I do spend a lot of time just wandering around picking things up and putting them down in a random sort of way. (I'm looking for reduced SELs, like we all do...) So he wanders up and down the aisles I'm in from the opposite direction. He's not pushy but it's obvious he's got his eye on me and is letting me know it. However that's his job....he's there as a deterrent, mostly, and anyone acting out of the least bit ordinary will usually be watched a bit more closely. That's what he's supposed to do! I'm not doing anything the least bit illegal so though I do find it irritating I let him get on with it.

The staff at the tills are pleasent enough but they are starting to get this "Oh Gawd it's her again" look on their faces as I come up!
i think abou 90% of us on here get that look:rotfl:
If it has tyres or testicles, it's gonna give ya problems..

Popped into both Walsall stores yesterday

    Small Saddler's Centre store
    • No clearance and no gorgeous bags
    • a few reduced items dotted around on normal shelves - look out for those SELs!
    Park Street store
    • Small clearance section on end aisle near Opticians dept - mainly rubbish tbh!
    • 2 boxes of gorgeous bags in stock near new tills - one box either end as you queue.
I have been desperate for one of these until I actually saw them - some of you are saying the handles are too long - for me they didn't look long enough, mind you I only had a quick glance before I got to till so perhaps if I have a better look I might still be tempted.

    • I spotted some of the huggies newborn starter kits with nappies, wipes and socks in baby section, top shelf, right in the corner, about 4 of them but the SEL said £5. Might be worth getting scanned to check if reduced.
    • Expert Scar Serum scanning at £3.99 in this store.
