Uni and childcare

I'm going back to uni to do a year in teacher training. But I now have 2 kids and am worried about childcare costs and running up huge loans. I already have astudent loan although small.
I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this and if there is a way of getting some sort of finance for childcare while at uni, or where I can find out about this.
By the way I'm in Scotland as I know that makes a diff.
Thankyou

you should be entitled to a childcare grant, which you don't have to pay back. This covers 85% of any care needed. The uni may have a nursery if children young enough, but usually have a long waiting list these days. Don't be put off as there is help available but rather a lot of paperwork involved. If you are not entitled through LEA you can always apply through tax credits as there is a similar scheme here0
