  • it took them 2 months to claw back money out of my account and i dont think they can make you go over your od limit but they are a nightmare to deal with im on a dmp with lloyds and once its sorted they leave you alone a bit- but i would seriously open another account mega quick and be care ful if you dont pay your overdraft back they have charged me £800 in 3 months in daily charges for being over my o-d limit and ive been on my dmp for a year and a half!!!!
    goal for 2014....i will manage money better ..must resist shopping..............:A

    They wrote to me after 2 months with a notification of offset. So they had every intention of doing so. However there was no money there for them to take and they can't force you overdrawn.

    As the others have said open another account. Mine is with Abbey only took an hour and I walked out with my new account number.

    First missed lloyds payment was last week on the 8th. I have a new account set up reasdy but tax credits take up to 10 days to change account. They go into my lloyds account on Wed and i need to draw them out. Do ou think LLoyds credit card payment could be taken from account b4 wed when it will be 15 days late. If it does i would then go well over my od limit
