Sounds as though you have a lovely landlord and i'm sure he's really pleased to have a tenant like you too.

I'm nearly in BR/repossession myself and my heart is breaking. Knowing its all my fault and its my poor other half who will suffer as well is dreadful and hope my LL is as kind as yours. Skylight gives good advice re bottle of wine and my very best wishes to you for the future.

Thanks Dalip but its hard to see a glimmer just now let alone any light. I'd make a home for us where ever we went but my guilt and shame is so heavy right now.

Kenlyn, the light must be there for us we just need to keep walking the loooonnnggg tunnel but with the help & support of people here i KNOW that we will get there.

no wine tonight hubby is working, & i know if i sit here & drink alone i will just be a blubbering wreck by 9 o'clock!

Hi FL ....I might suggest the kitchen thing to my new LL....not moved in yet though!!! Hmmm nice belfast sink, granite & bespoke hand made cabinets...possibly think not! Anyway the past is gone now ...look forward & not back!

Hi Kenlyn...we`ve not spoken b4 so I am not sure of your situation...(I don`t get on here much in the week) but wanted to say...keep posting & reading...this site has been a godsend for me. Just being able to `open up` to others without judgement or criticism seems to clear the fog to see a way forward.

oh forgot! On the subject of landlords....mine has said that I can install my woodburning stove!! Its not much but will always remind me of home!! (& save on the oil heating bills!!- OR should approve!!)

HI FL....seems to save loads on the heating bills plus can burn all the letters I get for OH !!! (after he`s read them of course)..Maybe just that I`m buying wood & smokeless as I go along so not waiting for dreaded gas/oil bill!!!
