Dating ideas fairly cheap?

Can anyone suggest some really good ideas for a fairly cheap date?
I have just met someone, although i dont like being a real cheap skate when it comes to taking a woman out, i have very little money at the moment and finding it hard to make ends meet.
This has put me off dating in the past 6 months, but i think its time i made the effort with this lovely lady i have just met:o
Anyway spending lots of money does not allways mean a great day out, so all ideas will be greatly appreciated.

Why not a nice romantic picnic, won't cost you much and she will love it.0

i have just met a lovely guy and we go for nice walks along beach, conservation trails etc, it means you can chat and find out more about the other person, you can either bring a picnic or get some chips. We then take it in turns to cook a nice meal for each other and watch a dvd.0

I took my girlfriend kite flying with a £3.50 kite from Sports Soccer (always closing down sale or whatever the shop is called)
Nice bit of teaching a showing her how to hold the lines.
We also have the set of Emmerdale quite close so had a walk up there.
Most things usually involve a packed lunch when we go places and the main expense a lot of the time is fuel.
My local pub does 2 meals for £10 during the week, Weatherspoons is pretty cheap and you can talk.
Does your cinema have free nights - or seefilmfirst.com. We saw Flashbacks of a Fool this week for free on Tuesday night. It was rubbish but gets you out.
Any gardens to have a walk around locally? RHS ones can be expensive but there are some run by charities.
I also got dragged to Salsa class the other week, that was £5 per person so not exactly cheap for 1 hour but you may get an introductory offer.I beep for Robins - Beep Beep
