Airstop.be for long-haul flights?
optique
We're flying to San Francisco in February for a week, from 10th to 18th. The cheapest direct flight I can find is BA via a Belgian travel website called airstop.be -- 568 euros (386 pounds) which is 16 quid cheaper than on the BA website itself. I checked all the UK sites like Opodo, expedia etc which are a bit more expensive (about 415 pounds).
Has anyone used airstop.be before? Are they reliable? Alternatively, does anyone know of £20 vouchers for Opodo or Travelocity valid at the moment?
Thanks!

Are your dates flexible and where are you flying from ?
Airline network have flights from LGW for £339 and LHR for £344 from 6-9 Feb returning up to 15 Feb with American Airlines.
It's usually cheaper to search for a flight Tuesday or Wednesday.0 -
American Airlines do not fly direct to San Francisco from UK.0

Not really flexible at all -- school holidays

Keen on direct flights to cut out the hassle -- I think that's only BA, Virgin and United...0 -
That's a shame. you are tied to the dates.
KLM fly direct from Amsterdam, it's only a short flight to Amsterdam to connect, I have flown to SFO a few times with them and was very impressed with the service and food, one of the best airlines we have flown with.
BMI is an excellent airline for long haul.
I avoid Northwest, they seem to have the rudest cabin crew, poor food, who tend to disappear for most of the flight.
American has the best seat pitch 33"-35" B.A & Virgin have 31" KLM 32" which is a consideration if you are flying for eleven and a half hours.
I don't mind an indirect flight, it gives you a break and time to stretch your legs before the last haul which is usually not as long.0 -

I'm a bit slow today, do you mean actually doing the search or the dates of travel?0 -
Huge thanks to Tony on the thread next to this one, I got 2-for-1 flights with American Airlines for the exact dates we needed! :j
Not direct flights, but at a saving of over £200 it was hard to resist (£532 versus £772).
MSE strikes again!
I may never know what airstop.be is like, but they were cheapest and look as legit as a Belgian travel broker is able to look...0
