Hi everyone just popping in to keep my motivation going today i have listed several items on ebay to help towards paying more to my dmp. I'm still waiting to hear from either marlin (the wonderful people who are taking me and hubby to court for ccj and charging order) or the court themselves. I have visted a friend tonight and gone over the whole story again and I'm upset and low again now

total debt to clear 50k

thanks for the hugs I really needed em ! marlin last spoke to us last thurs evening informing us of that they were going ahead with the claim to court its driving me mad I just want the court form to arrive and i can't belive i just said that

yeah but sometimes its better to get stuff in front of you and be able to deal with it then having it hanging over you waiting waiting - i hate waiting!


if you already have a DMP how come marlin are taking you court?

they bought 3 accounts from another debt collection agency that had bought our accounts from hsbc since marlin bought it they have not acknowleged our dmp even though payments have gone to them they say our dmp is null and void and they bought our debt to secure it against our house

I'm not aware of your situation, but just wanted to say this:

Court is about listening to BOTH sides, just because merlin may issue court procedings does not always mean someone is granted their wish.

Hold on in there, in the meantime take comfort that many, many members on this board are on your side.

I don't have a huge experience on this but I am sure it will look good that you have dmp, and what 10past6 said is true.

there will be other people on here who know more about it. but if you have made an attempt to pay and in fact paid then that MUST count for something

It's against OFT guidlnes for a creditor to REFUSE TO DEAL WITH A 3RD PARTY APPOINTED REPRESENTITIVE
