hey everyone, been a while! i recieved a letter this morning from hsbc saying that on the 3rd of may £75 is going to be deducted from my account. charges and interest, £4.60 is interest and the rest is overdraft fees! i recently applied for a student account. usually when i go overdrawn i would recieve a letter 3-4days after going overdrawn. not this time. so twice after that occassion i withdrew to £10 now im being charged can they do this? do i have any rights? i thought that because i didnt get a letter 3-4days after, was because that now my account is a pre student account i wouldnt be charged especially for them two £10'ers!
can anyone help?

If this is the first charge you have incurred, call them up and explain it was an oversight and ask if they will refund them.
If they refuse, you will need to read Martin's articles in my signature to see what your options are.0
