fake money ripp off? withheld number

I put an ad in Loot for a camcorder.
I received many scam emails with the word "nigeria" and i just ignored them all till someone called me and was interested in buying it and after 2-3 calls he came, payed me and picked it up.
The problem that at least the 2 fifty notes he gave me turned out to be fake.
Not sure about the 20 notes.
I didn't realize he is a fake man, and i'm so stupid.
Not bad for this money lost one can discover his stupidity.
I asked him to give me a contact number if there's any problem.
The phone related to this number is switched off.
He called me to my homeline but i can't trace his number as it is a withheld number.
Any advice, suggestion or a way to know who is behind or unlock the withheld number.
It's not the money the annoys me in particular but the fact that i've been ripped off.

Sorry, but this is probably what you dont want to hear, but I personally think that there is nothing you can do about it.

Whenever we have sold anything cash, (large amounts) we usually meet during the day, and tell them to come to the bank with us, so the cashier can count and bank the cash.

maybe you will have to do that next time.

I know i have to give up and live with it.

I was so stressed, down in the past few weeks and this incident just came as a bonus to be added to my account. when they come they come all in one.

the pain is when you realize that The 2 £50 notes are so clear they are fake that even a blind could've noticed it.I think it's a homemade product.

the add was there for weeks and after just half an hour of selling it to that person i received a call from another interested buyer who seemed to be genuine. See how lucky i was in selling my first item.

We have communal CCTV and you can see who is knocking your door in your TV, i wish i can get hold of his picture so i can publish it in internet and all around.
