had no money since first week of march.
i split from my dh and the claim was stopped, then on 6 april he moved back in with me, i informed WFTC straightaway and they sent me a new claim pack which i sent back a week ago, i phoned them today and asked about the money owed from march and she said "well we now have all the info we needed, we were waiting on info but we have it now"
now i was phoning them practically every day during march asking did they need anything more from me and every person said no that it was with processing, today she cannot give me a time when i am likely to get any money.
my dh is unemployed and we really need that money.
is there a back log or anything that could be holding this up cos i dont understand why they cannot send me a giro or just transfer the money, i cannot speak to anyone as the helpline wont put me through.
thanks

When you are changing back and forth from joint to single and back again it can slow down the process and you may also be chosen for a compliance check.
There is nobody the helpline can put you through to, they are not refusing to do it, it is not something that can be done.
You can go to an enquiry centre to request an emergency payment but there is no guarantee that one will be made. I think it is Pam17 who works in an enquiry centre who may be able to give more advice on this if she comes on.0
