elec oven with microwave facility

never knew these existed til i was browsing the net, are they as good as a normal microwave? Got a small kitchen and need a new built under oven, if the microwave function is as good as a seperate microwave ill do away with it. Can they be used for quick 'micro' meals?

Yes, a few months ago I purchased a Panasonic combination microwave which incorpororates convection cooker, grill and microwave. It's quite a large unit, and you can add trays to do roast meat, vegetables etc. The microwave is 1000w and quite speedy to heat things. The grill is similar to any conventional grill.

They are really useful, and we have hardly used our main oven since purchase.

Was it a microwave with oven facility? i.e one that sits on top of your work surfaces or was it an oven, with microwave function? (hope that made sense)
I'm looking for a built in oven that will also work as a microwave, so i can do away with my standard microwave, freeing up valuable space in a small kitchen
