I received a email from BG the other day saying they had raised their prices on the 8th Feb for the Click Energy 4 tariff, I was thinking it was a bit late for them to be telling me this now! My question is if I had moved onto the Click Energy 5 tariff on Feb 8th would I have saved money? If so do I have a case for BG to back date the tariff transfer to Feb 8th as they have only just contacted me regarding the price rise?

The increased Click 4 rates for electricity for us (Midlands Area), work out cheaper than the Click 5 rates, was annoying that they put them up just as we switched. Don't know about the gas, as we have that from eBico as it worked out cheaper.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

Remember that if within "10 working days" from being informed by them of the price increase you tell them you are moving to another supplier - and then you promptly move then the price increase does not apply to your account (T&C para 7.2 a and 7.2 b).

They put up the prices the day I filled in the online form to switch to them so I cancelled it and went with EON instead. The £60 quidco is still showing as validated. I also had £70 from quidco for joing EON which I received in March.
