Hi all.
Are there any life insurance policies out there that say give you a lump sum back at the end of the policy ???
So say I take out a 10 year policy and do not die, are there any that would give me some money back ?
Sorry if it does sound stupid, but all advice is welcomed.
Thanks

EndowmentsSorry if it does sound stupid, but all advice is welcomed.
You wouldnt want an endowment even if you could still find someone offering them. Modern options are more efficient. For example a decreasing term assurance and a stocks and shares ISA will be cheaper and more tax efficient than an endowment.
You also have to consider that term assurance or family income benefit may be as cheap as £5pm but the same level of cover on an endowment would cost around £40pm.
If you want to invest then use an investment. If you want life cover then use a pure life assurance policy.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
