DECT wireless extender

I hope someone can give me some advice regarding this item http://www.maplin.co.uk/Search.aspx?criteria=DECT%20Wireless%20Phone%20Line%20Extender&source=15&SD=Y

If I use this extender and plug my adsl modem into it will I suffer a reduced connection speed compared to connecting the modem to a normal telephone socket?

What you can't do with this is use the extended socket it provides for ADSL. DECT only allows the voice section of the line to be transmitted and it's then compressed. It's not possible with this to wirelessly transmit the broadband data to the other socket for the modem.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
